Welcome to Sakal Dental Clinic

SAKAL Dental Clinic is one among the largest and longest dental clinics in Cambodia providing comprehensive dentistry of the very highest quality. Founding in 2001, Sakal Dental Clinic is centrally located about 100 meters east from Central Market, Phnom Penh capital, Cambodia.

Our Principle

We believe in giving our patients a choice in treatment and we always educate and discuss treatment options with our patients before a decision is made. In fact, all our new patients will experience the gentle touch of our dental surgeons as they make use of a highly magnified intra-oral camera to examine your teeth in detail. The intra-oral camera also helps us to show you the areas that require more care on your part.

Our Vision

To be the dental clinic of your choice in providing friendly and technologically advanced treatment yet affordable treatment options.

Our Mission

To be partners with our patients in providing them with the highest level of standard in personalized care, comfort and affordability in maintaining their oral health by having a set of white pearlies to smile with and eat with for life.

Dental Implant

Replacing missing teeth is important to your general health and to the health of your other teeth. Dental implants should always be considered as an option to replace a failing or missing tooth. Replacement of lost teeth with dental implants has been used for treating missing teeth for more than 50 years and is recognized as an effective treatment choice. Treatment is considered more predictable than bridgework, resin bonded bridges and endodontic treatment.

Restorative Dentistry

If your damaged smile is having a negative impact on the way you look, feel and function, then restorative dental treatment in our SAKAL Dental practice may be the perfect choice for you.

At SAKAL Dental, our crowns are made from the very highest quality materials and are designed to provide you with a long life and excellent value for money. During this procedure, the damaged part of your tooth will be removed and replaced with a permanent ceramic dental crown. This:
  •       Strengthens the tooth,
  •       Restores the structure of the tooth,
  •       Eliminates the need for unsightly and damaging amalgam   fillings,
  •       Protects the weakened tooth from further damage, and
  •       Improves the appearance of a discoloured or misshapen tooth

Orthodontics

  •  Removal of dental crowding or closing spaces
  •  Alignment of the upper and lower dental arches
  •  Correction of the bite of the teeth so that the front teeth meet on closing and the back teeth mesh together
  •  Reducing the likelihood of damage to prominent teeth
  •  Enhancing facial aesthetics
  •  Preparation for advanced dental treatment, such as crowns, bridges or dental implants
  •  Reversing the drifting of the teeth in older patients who have suffered from advanced gum disease These are some of the most common reasons patients seek treatment:
  •  Protruding upper front teeth - one of the most common dental problems
  •  Crowding – a narrow jaw may mean there is not enough room for your teeth, resulting in crowding. Conversely, some patients have significant gaps between their teeth.
  •  Asymmetry – particularly when the centre lines of the upper and lower front teeth do not match, perhaps because the teeth have drifted or the position of the jaw has shifted.

Why are they priced so?

Our professional fees are determined according to many factors including clinical time, dental instrument and materials costs, laboratory charges, infection control compliance costs and of course our fixed overheads. Dentistry is a clinical profession and we essentially have to set up many of the same elements of a small hospital, in order to be able to provide our services to our patients. However, unlike a hospital, we do not receive any Medicare or other government payment and hence the entire cost of operation is paid for by the patients. We also have some additional safety and diagnostic equipment in our practice for the benefit of our patients, so you can rest assured that you are always receiving the very best of dental care at all times.
